Outpace Cancer is a 10K/5K Race & 1-Mile Walk in Oklahoma City, hosted by the Stephenson Cancer Center, to raise money for cancer research and to provide support for cancer patients and their families. The 2018 event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 15, beginning at 8 am.

The Outpace Cancer Race is a family-friendly event to help create community and support for the people fighting cancer and their families.

Cancer is about community, from a community of researchers and physicians to friends and family coming together for a loved one fighting cancer.

We encourage you to form Outpace Cancer teams and invite your community to support these efforts. Team members can run or walk the 10K or 5K – or sign up as a virtual runner and support your efforts from afar.

8:45 am: 10K ($45)

Complimentary parking available to participants in the Stephenson Cancer Center parking garage. Participants will enter campus from 8th street, turn left on Phillips and then right into parking garage entrance on West side of Building.

Cost for children ages 3-18 is $20 for any event;
no cost for ages 0-2.  Strollers welcome.


Note: You’ll have two opportunities to pick up your packet. You will not receive your packet in the mail. To pick up your packet, you will need your photo ID. If you want to pick up someone else’s packet, no problem. Just bring their confirmation email or photo ID.

Join us on Thursday, Sept. 13 at Embassy Suites Downtown Medical Center from 4 – 8 pm for the Outpace Cancer Race Runner Expo. This event is open to the public and will showcase exhibitors featuring a wide array of products and services geared towards runners, walkers and health-minded community members. The Expo kicks off the Outpace Cancer Race and is where participants will pick up their packets. In addition to a numbered runner bib, all event participants will receive a 2018 Outpace Cancer Race t-shirt. Not able to attend the Expo? Attend the packet pick-up detailed below.
